AIRTEL BUSAN

My wife and I book this hotel thinking that would be easy for us to catch our flight the next day. Turns out this place is highly inaccessible & is about 3 miles (5km) from the bus terminal. The roads to the hotel are terribly maintained with no sidewalks, leading to dangerous situations of almost being hit on numerous occasions in an industrial area! Once we were able to locate the building, we had to walk around the entire block just to find the entrance because of a guard railt that divides the road. Creating an un-easy sense of dred of being hit by a car, as they speed through the area. We also passed a local couple that appeared to be clutching their belongings with white knuckles, as they left the entrance of the hotel. Giving us the impression that this place is shady! Upon entering the hotel, no one was present at the front desk. We called out to see if anyone was around and noticed not only that no one was around to help, but no one could be seen on the security cameras just behind the desk. There was a very clear lack of light in the lobby (only natural light from the entrance) This combined with a sign pointing to a stack of towels, claimingthem to be clean and for guest use. Made us walk out and cancel our reservation on the spot! We walked back to the Busan bus station and promptly found a significantly better hotel for around the same price and closer to where we wanted to be. I highly encourage you to not be fooled by the pictures as we were & to spend the extra money, if needed, for a better place to stay!

I was supposed to stay there with my family for four nights, but we checked out after the first night. None of us could survive in this horrible hotel. This place is far from the city center. If you take the metro train to the place, you will need to transfer for light rail train and walk at least 20 minutes. Walking didn’t look safe in that area because it is in the manufacturing industry area and not many people were around except passing cars. The hotel room was humid, unclean and terrible. It was nothing like the pictures shown in booking websites. Bottled water was not offered, the sink and the drain were clogged.The staff was creepy. When we checked in, he didn’t give us the key right away. Instead, he spoke Korean which we didn’t understand and gestured that we should follow him to the room. He opened our room door and placed our key in the keycard switch. We thought he was going to introduce some facilities in the room or he wouldn’t have us FOLLOW him to our room. But he left instead of introducing the room. We found out that the room was super old and we had a problem locking our room door. The sheet were stained. The AC didn’t have power. The staff couldn’t speak English so we had a hard time telling him that there was no power for AC. In the end, he still didn’t help us with the AC. The reason why I booked this hotel was because I had a Taiwanese travel agency called South East Travel Service(東南旅行社）help us book the flight and rooms. Before booking them, we saw that the pictures of the hotel room was spacious, clean, and new. But it was not like the pictures after we checked in. And we felt that it was more like a scam.

Bit off the road but reachable by public bus, and if you drive, a car. For a cheap price, u get a really spacious room with all amenities you need. I think its a good place for romace too...
