Not open.
Went the whole way here to find a sign on the door saying only open Friday 2pm and 4pm and only with reservation.
Not helpful.
It's not for free.
10,000 won adult.
It's 'Art Gallery'. In Jeju there are total 3 arario museums, which are all transformed from other building. This one is from Motel.
I didn't see the gallery because I am not into an art like this....
Section 1 is honest, intense, and erotic, and Section 2 is also the same.
If you cross the street from Dongmun Market, you can find Motel I and II without difficulty. The motel buildings themselves are a little narrow and are dark and cramped as they make use of the previous structures and facilities. When I saw the work of Koo Bon-ju in II, it was okay, but I was scared and difficult to concentrate because of the dark and complex structure of the building I and the characteristics of the work because I did not have a great artistic perspective or aesthetics. Nevertheless, it is definitely a recommended place in Jeju City except for natural attractions.
I watched both of them for 10,000 won. At first, I wanted to go to the second hall (Gujungju sculpture), so I wanted to get a little overpriced, but I enjoyed it very much. And when I went to see the first hall, I almost regret it if it did not come true. The level of exhibition works was high. There were a lot of works of contemporary art artists attracting attention. (Applicant for planning!) The 1st Pavilion arranged contemporary art objects and flat works to match the original inn, which was very impressive. Every single story was good. I was very impressed with the arrangement of the works and the movement. (But there was not the explanation right next to the work, but there was a case where it was gathered separately. I did not intend to intentionally, but the plane layout was a bit confusing.) And I commented that it was scary of the other person. In particular, I was shocked when I saw Kao Lei's work, and then I was surprised to see that I went through the steps. I visited near the hostel without any thought, but it was the most interesting of the trip to Jeju. I'll visit another branch. I would like to express my gratitude to the curator who was interested in organizing the exhibition.
