It has an international section so you can get seen as a foreigner, but they are pretty busy. I don't think it's the best for getting things done but for basics and medication it is okay.
They charge for any document or medical certificate that will explain what you were there for, diagnosis, etc. I can deal with the cost but getting the document is a hassle. It seems is not normal for them to provide these but the have a lot of soldiers nearby who would need the same thing. Each time it was an ordeal to get the document which normally only had limited info and left out important info.
Also almost every visit is 30 seconds to maybe a few minutes of seeing a doctor.
ER is the worst. Takes about 15 minutes for the Ambulance to come. Instead of taking an MRI they took a CT for more money.
Good Morning Hospital was surprisingly pleasant considering the circumstances. This review is strictly in regards to my experience as an English speaking foreigner. Quick background; family member had a medical emergency 24 hours prior to flying back to the U.S. This resulted in a two week stay in Good Morning Hospital.
Your very first stop should be the International Healthcare Center (located on the first floor main lobby) if you are a foreigner. The translators speak flawless English, are friendly, and very professional. They are also familiar with the very difficult and confusing U.S. healthcare policies and regulations (pointing at you Tricare).
Everything went smoothly and i have no complaints. Here are some quick hints of things that were different for me:
1. You have some freedom to keep costs down. The hospital provides you different room options. I think they are: 8 person shared, 4 person shared, 2 person shared, and then the VIP single person rooms. The shared rooms are cheaper. Less people = Less Money.
2. The meals were very good. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for the patient were individually cooked (western style) and tasted delicious. These are for the patient only, but I love food and I was curious how it holds up to western hospital food (random i know).
3. The costs for medical treatment was extremely cheap. (Compared to U.S. treatment). The nurses (and translators) provided us the cost estimate prior to each action taken by the hospital. This helped me prepare for the eventual payment of the hospital bill.
4. The lobby does a great job with what they have. I saw a person playing the piano for several hours before being replaced by a band consisting of violins and cellos.
Again, Good Morning Hospital exceeded my expectations and provided the best possible care and service for my family. This applies to my two interactions, but fantastic job.
Not everyone in Korea is a Korean! How about providing information and name places in ENGLISH??? New map lacks much of the information and locations available on old Classic Map. Can no longer find many locations; cannot center map on a location and obtain lat long; cannot plot distances! How about re-installing old Classic Maps which did provide all the information and feature sadly lacking in the new (UN)improved version. Would like a Terrain Map with visible topography lines and readable elevations. Cannot determine correct travel routes because plotting feature only shows BUS ROUTES! How about showing best routes to travel by automobile?? Why no Satellite view? Will Google be restoring this feature? If so, when; if not, WHY NOT? To say that I Dislike the new Maps is an understatement at best. Absolutely HATE the product! Google needs more and much better programmers.
SEE ABSOLUTELY NO IMPROVEMENT SINCE THE ABOVE WAS SUBMITTED. THE GOOGLE EARTH VIEW IS PATHETIC. - DIMMER, WASHED OUT SATELLITE VIEW WITH LESS MAGNIFICATION AVAILABLE. A GIANT LEAP BACKWARD BY GOOGLE. EVIDENTLY THERE WILL BE NO IMPROVEMENT AND WE ARE STUCK WITH THIS UNTIL THERE IS SOME OTHER OUTFIT PROVIDES A COMPETITIVE PRODUCT.
all they want is your money. be ready to pay for multiple unnecessary tests. 돈만밝히는 병원.
