Big Church located in Matale Town and dedicated to St.Thomas the Apostle. Church is controlled by Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and belongs to diocese of Kandy.

St. Thomas' Church is a catholic church in the diocese of Kandy. Currently the Blessed Sacrament Fathers are in residence and taking care of the church. There are a number of other churches too under their care which belongs to Matale parish. Holy Mass is offered in English, සිංහල and Tamil every Sunday.
