This statue established by one of the public unions in the area. Statue was build here becouse this is the area where Ehelepola nilame was born. He was the Kumarihami's husband. Place was nicely maintain by the near by temple. Statue gives nice view as it locate middle of the lake. Around 300 meters ahead there is a statue of the Ehelepola Kumaraya which is the son of kumarihami.

Nice statue on a platform over a rice paddy / lake. The statue is of a mother of a local hero who fought the British for independence. He was captured and beheaded and she was too.
