This is the only institution in Sri Lanka which trains veterinarians. Plus it offers many services to the public including rabies diagnosis, veterinary medical and surgical services, pathological investigations, food quality testing etc.

One of more than ten faculties of university of Peradeniya. One and only university faculty for veterinary sciences in Sri Lanka. Situated in a plant rich cool place of Peradeniya in the central province of Srilanka. It has produced many quality dental surgeons who are working in and out of the island.
