This school is situated in Ganthune village and started on 05 January 1950. The village is beautiful and the entry to it is difficult as the entry road is not in good condition and very mountainous. Landslides were prevalent in this area. Around 80 students are in the school and facilities are very low. There is scarcity of teachers. Most students are in low income status. Classes from grade 1 to 11 are available and students have shown good educational achievements. Nearest towns to the village are Mawanelle and Kegalle. Villagers are so friendly and generous.
