Nice place to feel the nature. One of the best tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Much more to explore much more to see and feel. If you looking for a place to relax or go with the nature or escape from your busy schedule I highly recommend this place.

Royal Botanic Gardens is known as Peradeniya garden / park. It is beautiful place. You can enjoy by spend time here. Also, you could do photography since there are over 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, palm trees, etc. Good for family trips. You need a day here!

Full of spectacular established trees, a huge assortment of flowers & animal life who have made this place their home (we saw monkeys, many different birds & bats). The paths were well-maintained & the maps easy to follow (we also used Google maps, which was helpful to get us back on time). We spent 1.5 hours but could have easily explored for longer- I suspect many people would get tired before they got bored! Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place. As much as it's a place with beauty and historical values it's also a useful place for those who're studying botany. Nice place for a stroll in the evening. For a visit alone, with family friends or anyone, it's recommended. But please do refrain from harming the nature.
