Location and the History

Visited this fabulous colonial bungalow with a group of friends for the weekend and ended up staying an extra day! The scenery around the bungalow was surreal. Coming through the beautiful driveway to the property and seeing the beauty of the place blows your breath away. Equipped with all amenities including a tv lounge, a snooker table and a lovely pool makes sure you have the perfect getaway! Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Every mile of the drive to the property was without a doubt worth it! throughout the stay we were greeted with exceptional hospitality and lovely food by the team at Taylor’s hill. Make sure you try out the Sri Lanka cuisine! Sure to come back for more!!!!

Where do I begin...... It is a beautiful estate bungalow from colonial days which has been renovated to facilitate modern living conditions whilst preserving the old world charm. This is situated in the region where the first tea plantation was started by James Taylor. The Weather is fantastic whether its rain or sunshine. we had both. We occupied all 5 rooms and the staff looked after are requirements very well (We may have been demanding). There is a plenty to do within the premises itself such as Tennis, croquet, Badminton, Snooker ,the beautiful Pool and the Spa. There is a tastefully manicured Sprawling Garden.. to stroll around and enough routes for 5-7 km treks. Ideal for a family get away too. The staff was excellent... they wore a smile right through the day...Yes will visit again . PS - The most scenic route to this location would be via the Hantana Estate.

Had the most fabulous time here..loved the place. The colonial bungalow with a touch of modern luxury is outstanding. Will definitely go back again when in need of a break.
