River Bend Hide Out

Super relaxing place. No internet and phone signals. Great food. Only two bathrooms for a whole lot of people. It's in a rubber estate and so nice and relaxing. The owner very hospitable too. Tips: Remember to have the pressure pump switched on, get the pool filter switched on, get them to show you where all these switches are. Very comfortable rooms. We didn't have enough food for sufficient second servings for lunch and dinner, but we were happy with the cooking of the local cuisine. Perfect for those who want to relax and have a digital detox, best of all you can play cricket go for walks around the estate and take your dogs oh yes and you can take a river bath too although it can be dangerous.

Surroundings are very beautiful here. Both the swimming pool and the river is available to take a swim. The house is aesthetically pleasing and have air conditioned bedrooms with attached bathrooms. They offer very friendly service and delicious food for a fair price. Highly recommended 👌

Best place to chill with a group of friends, without driving for hours out of colombo.

First of all I must say this is one of the best places that I have ever been to. Place is surrounded by a rubber state and the swimming pool with that view is picture perfect. There are three air conditioned rooms of good quality. The architectural design of the place gives you a quite good space to chill and relax with a good view. The staff was really good and helpful. Cooking was good and they provided some delicious plates for us. They have a BBQ machine where you only have to bring the required provisions and they take care of it with a reasonable additional cost. And I must appreciate the security and the privacy they provided. In conclusion this is a good place for a pack of 12 friends (15 maximum) or a family gathering.

A very good place with a nice environment, but beds are not comfortable and the rooms smell bad, meals are not tasty.
