Best experience ever!! I have spent almost a year in Sri Lanka over the past couple of years and this service is unbeatable! The owner Thajee is an amazing person. My husband and I checked rental car agencies all over Matara and they all gave us a bad vibe and tried to rip us off. Don't even bother looking anywhere else. When we walked into Thagees shop we immediately felt like friends with the owner who was soon genuine. We sat down together laughing and telling our plans. He gave us advice for everything we wanted to do in Sri Lanka and even offered to help us plan our wedding!! He has the best prices and the cleanest cars I have seen with a lot of choices and styles. He ended up driving us all over Matara to find me a traditional Sri Lankan dress to wear for my wedding without asking for anything in return. We got to visit his adorable daughters school and meet the kids. He is always smiling and laughing and is a very honest and smart man. We went out to lunch and became great friends. This is a rare experience that you cannot miss. I could go on and on about the endless kindness Thajee showed us and we are still in touch. He even drove us to the airport to say goodbye. It is clear that he cares more about friendship and relationships than money. He is a transparent and selfless person. Even if you aren't looking to rent a car please go say hi to him at his shop and he will offer any help he can. He has a lot of connections and resources to help with anyplans in Sri lanka. Love love love this place and will be back every year to rent and enjoy his company.
