Great place. Very interesting watching the locals interact. Very friendly. Cheap lion beer which is far superior to same brand provided at Riu Sri Lanka. Pub is located 100 yds to left of main gate.

The Closing-Times 18.00 are wrong!!! The Pub closes normally at 11 p.m. !!! Googlemaps software is completely unable, to change this Information correctly! This is not only a place where you can drink a beer. Amazing is the big variety of sri lankan brewed beers but also of local sri lankan spirits & liquors! A smooth coconut spirit at 33,5 %: Delicious and at reasonable prices. So guys, leave the riu and heritance-ghettos to taste the real sri lankan way of alcoholic culture!
