Nawagamuwa Thotupola

This is a place used by ancient kings for bathing who pilgrimed to nawagamuwa pattini dewalaya. Most of the local folks use it as a swimming place today. It is nice to feel the cool breeze under hot sun on the bridge. Nice place to have a outdoor bath in kelani river. However it is dangeruos to swim deep in rivers unless you have life life guard geer.
