So i invested in kandy branch. Manager was a nice guy who promised us many things at first, by first i mean we received a life insurance claim from amana takaful which they practically forced us to re invest in them.. they were at our door next day the claim was received like we owe them something. We told them okay after going through their rates and everything cuz we wanted to save some for the kids of the passed, their marriage and study etc so called manager told us we can get the money anytime we want but if we keep it for 3 years only we can see a good profit. We said okay and long story short- we needed the money next year and so on they denied saying they don’t hold responsibility for what the manager said cuz he doesnt work at the branch anymore said its all about the agreement (we know) but the manager made changes in the agreement right infront of us and we trusted them cuz they were fellow muslims and they had a person with them from our social circle (thats how they get you).. and there were only a little amount of profit after 3 years and they cut 10% as service charges. Invested amount- 500k Profit at the end of 3 years- 40k ( 20k was their service charge out of the profit) (Tired of typing) you get the story.. don’t get fooled by these money Mongers. P.S - they promised us 12 - 18 % profit every year cuz they have a different scheme than the banks. This is also one of the reasons why muslim community feels negative about marrying someone who worked at amana takaful insurance. (Stupid but i feel like they got point)

Bank, Insurance, Life etc.. Services are really bad. Very disappointed with customer service. Very soon will transfer to another bank. Bitter but this is the truth.
