Udawatta Kele Sanctuary

If you are a nature lover, do not miss visiting here if you travel Kandy. Once you step into to sanctuary you will feel the difference. A master piece of lovely nature ❤

Hidden inside the town. Wonderful to have a stroll. Zero disturbances and claiming environment. Has a nice viewpoint of the town. You can finish all of it within 30 minutes. Watch out for dogs and Wild boar

I went on a cycling trip to Udawattakele with my two boys (age 11 and 13). We had fun ride across the park and it awesome ride with nature.

They can do better to introduce more indigenous trees than complaining that invasive plants are taking over the vegetation in the forest. We found hundreds of tiny invasive tree saplings on either side of the path which can easily be removed. They can start a nursery of indigenous trees to introduce in cleared areas..

Heaven on earth Beautiful ❤️. One of the best place to visit in Kandy. If you are going there please do not put polythene plastic bottles everywhere bring back. We can see beautiful birds trees.
