We hired Janaka as our driver for 12 solid days of adventures. So glad we did! We quickly realised that driving in Sri Lanka would be very stressful and dangerous. He was there for us at every waking moment taking us wherever we wanted to go any time of day or night. He is kind, considerate, thoughtful, intelligent and responsible. He helped me get to a doctor, he suggested places to go and things to do without being pushy. He was a wealth of knowledge on every subject from fruit on trees to current and historical politics. We had a lovely time getting to know him while travelling all over Sri Lanka taking in all the sights. His rates are very reasonable considering how much of his time he devotes to his guests. We highly recommend him to anyone wishing to see such a beautiful country.

We were staying with Janaka for 4 days. We wrote in advance and arranged everything via email, it was just easy. He picked up us right from the airport. He showed us some really nice places around Kandy, Ella, sigiriya etc. His English is just perfect, so it is really easy to talk to him and ask him everything regarding Sri Lanka and the local people. I can highly recommend him to everyone!

Janaka was the loveliest, most helpful and informative guide and driver we could have wished for, on our trip to the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. Nothing was too much hassle and he went out of his way for us, to make sure our trip was easy and great! My husband and I visited Sri Lanka in July and Janaka drove us for three days . All communication with Janaka is easy.. and all our travel needs were arranged before we arrived. Janaka is such a lovely man - he speaks excellent English, he is really friendly, reliable, honest, easy to get on with, he is knowledgeable about the country and is very flexible and helpful. Janaka really did go out of his way to make sure we had a good time. When we left Janaka to continue our travels alone it felt quite sad, as he had become a friend in a short space of time.
