An extremely bad experience. Stayed at Bungalow 3. There was no cook available at the bungalow as indicated during the booking. The cooks were at Bungalow 1 (about 500 meters away) from which they kept sending our food over in a double cab. At first the food quantities delivered were strangely less, but improved after having a 'chat'. The cooks had to prepare meals for two bungalows. The fridge in Bungalow 3 was not functioning, but they swapped it with another. We did not have a kettle, crockery and cutlery. Had to make do with one spoon. Bathrooms did not flush properly and had to be done manually. 1 of 2 fans in the living room was not working. I guess you cannot expect anything more from a government run organisation.

Lately I was in a mood for some traditional polish cuisine, so I opened the phonebook on the pleat of restaurants and searched or the one that would make my palate gloat upon delicious food. My choice was a restaurant with funny, but inviting name ‘U Babuni’. As it turned out, the location of the restaurant was perfect. I am pretty sure that everyone is able to find it. ‘U Babuni’ is situated just in font of the Royal Castle in the Old Town. Having come inside the very first thing I noticed was a gentle smell of birch wood that was coming from the centre of the dining hall, where small hearth was lighted. What is more, other advantages of this restaurant are the opening hours: from Monday till Sunday, from 1 to 11 p.m. As soon as I sat, I was given a menu card and, to my total astonishment, fascine, lard and some fresh, smelling bread has been served. As I opened the menu I was really surprised.

The location is really good but thats that. The place is poorly maintained two a/c's are fitted but only one works. The kitchen is offsite and the workers lack transparency.

Very close to the beach.. Stayed at the bungalow no 1. Two A/C rooms and two non A/C rooms can accommodate around 10-12 people. Bring drinking water. Bungalow has fully equipped and clean spacious living room, kitchen, a dining area, two attached bathrooms, a common bathroom and outside showers. The ladies will prep meals provided that you give raw ingredients beforehand. There's a road rater sort-of a footpath to the beach in between Maalu maalu and Ananthaya resort.
