This polic station always try to do something to maligawatta peoples..and very supportive.

I was there last friday. Cells are very clean also washroom inside the cells also very clean, these days dengue mosquitos are very dangerous but there is no mosquitos , officers are very friendly and they allowed us to call anyone with their own land line phone, even it's a mobile number also they allowed to bring food from outside, over all it was nice experience

My vehicle was hit and run by another vehicle. Informed 119 and also Maligawatte police station over the phone. They attended within one hour (it was a Saturday morning). I was asked to complain by presenting to the police station. The staff was really good and kind. Attended my issue. I needed a copy of the complain for insurance purposes. They prepared it and phoned me on next working day, to come and collect it. Didn't expect such a courtesy. The service seems improved a lot especially in the area of public relations.

Some of the lower officers are misleading people when they do something.

The Police here are very friendly.They will help you out of the way .Need some upgrading old building don't know when it will crumble.
