Great shack on the beach. Staff cooked our fresh crab and prawns how we liked. Couldnt do enough to look after us. Def a great spot for a beer and seafood at a great price.

1. Both the prawns and squid we ordered were not fresh at all. The shells were hard to come off the prawn and the squid meat was hard and chewy. 2. The rice and salad that accompanied the seafood were very mediocre 3. The squid we got was clearly not even a full squid - we didn't get any tentacles. How can they so blatantly forget that tentacles? We complained and they insisted they didn't cheat, but still offered a 500 rupee discount (2.5k rupees for 20 small prawns and a paltry squid). Don't go here. Our guide advised us to go here and he clearly is not working in our interests. We wish we'd googled the reviews before making a decision.

Pushy, overpriced compared to the ones next door, and refused to give us a menu or show us the price. Don’t trust Mama’s. Bad customer service as well. Avoid this place.
