Excellent Holly sivan Amman kovil
Beautiful place
I think one and only historical Lord Siva temple in south of the Srilanka now renovation works makes more beautiful.
Oldest Loard Shiva temple in down south Sri Lanka. One of the Eashwaram in Sri Lanka and known for its historical value.
We spotted this temple from outside Galle station and we went in as it looked beautiful. The temple looks big from outside, but only the Shiva linga, Meenakshi and Navagrahas shrines are currently in place. All the other 'Sannidhis' are still under construction (renovation). Not very crowded and there was no Pujari who was doing any Aarti when we went.
