I visited Rohan Gems in 2013 and was able to purchase several amazing stones while I was in Sri Lanka. Recently I wanted to get a necklace pendant made up, the team worked closely with me to get the Piece centred with a green zircon and set inside a circle of white sapphires. My wife an I were very happy with the amazing result.

In 2011 my now wife and I visited Rohan Gems to have our engagement and wedding rings designed and made. I chose a Cornflower Blue Sapphire and my wife chose Diamonds. All our arrangements were taken care of from being picked up from the airport, staying at Hotel Gem Land, visiting the gem mines and choosing my own sapphire was an experience we will never forget. Highly recommended and well priced.

Opaque pricing and poor explanation of stones, no ability to pay by card even on the most expensive items, no certificates of quality & verification, and gradually increasing sales pressure once you’ve found a stone you like. Would suggest you make sure you know your stuff before dealing with these guys as it’s hard to know if you can trust them. Shame.
