Very interesting place

The beautiful building known as “Ehelepola Walauva” located at Ratnapura - Colombo road was opened for the public as a museum. It has exhibition rooms which contain prehistoric archaeological inventions, natural heritage, geological, anthropological, zoological artifacts and models related to the Sabaragamuva Province. Cheap price for the tickets and more things to learn.It was under repair when we visited. Better place to learn history.

This is ancient one of Ehelepola walawwa for Ratnapura area. Ehelepola disawe is the leader of ratnapura area. So he libed in this house called walawwa. Now this walawwa become national museum of ratnapura. There are so many historical things in this museum from balngoda manwaya to rule of English. So for the students and thise who are studying history can be very important place. It situated now besides to mihindu college at ratnapura town.
