In a city without many decent hotels/guest houses to stay Gateway Inn Mannar is a good enough place to stay in for a few days. The rooms are of sufficient but basic standard. Bathrooms are basic too. However, cleanliness and home like environment are plus points. The hotel management will arrange for meals to be had at the small dinning area/restaurant. If a large group, for instance, friends or a few related families stay together it's fun as there are shared lobbies etc available for socializing. Car parking is generally not an issue here in this flat land Mannar. The main crowd that stay in this hotel are the birders who gather in this coastal city to that is famous for bird watching especially during the migration season where over 1000 Flamingos, many species of ducks etc may be spotted. All these hotspots are not far away from this hotel.
Supposed to visit there by the end of check in time.. But with much patient the staffs were welcomed me..And also the meals..have to mention that with special,coz was really satisfied. Thanks for your hospitality and other facilities.
