In here salterns you can see flamingos. You should Come when 7:00 am. flamingos will be there till 9:00 am sometimes.

A Season of Birds in Sri Lanka- Mannar if you are lucky- some of the thousands of flamingos that fly in to spend several months in the area. In 2019 January We took these photos. We got a sense of the area’s geography and enjoyed seeing many different birds. if you go early in the morning you will get a chance to see so many of them, we saw about 1000 - 1300 birds on that day and it was so beautiful.

We were there on 4 Jan 2020 we were not able to get any sighting of flamingos. We saw lot of other bird species
