Kalotuwa rock (කලෝටුවා ගල)

A steap rock which you have to climb up cautiously. You have to go through a tunnel lie structure made up with natural formation of rocks. The view from the top is breathtaking. It roughly take about two hours to climb from down to the top. The top is with cool breeze and very windy. You will have panaromic view. On the south east side down you can see the Ihala Kotte railway station and the rail road which leads to kandy. Irresponsible campers have polluted the area with polythene and other leftovers. If you visit there please be a good nature lover and keep your garbage with you and protect the environment for the future. On the west side of the mountain range, there is a beautiful buddhist stupa.
