Was an interesting place. A lot of neat things to see. Inside they apply pressure to by a carpet. Agreed on a price in dollars and then at the time of sale he converted to Moroccan Dirah - I his favor of course . Was entertaining to see his sales tactics

I can honestly highly recommend Maison Touareg after a visit with our family of 5 adults; and after comparing quality and price with places all over Morocco. We are very happy with our visit, the lunch (“Berbere Pizza” - written up nicely in one of the other reviews); and the quality and price of the rugs we purchased. At first it felt like it was just another carpet place that our guide schlepped us into. But the reception was very friendly; various interesting explanations about the ethnological and cultural backgrounds of the Tuaregs (but definitely not a museum); low pressure to buy and - multiple times - the invitation that we can walk away without buying and still be friends. Very humorous and interesting explanation of the various styles of carpets - we had done some research before coming to Morocco and learned tons more at Maison Tuareg. The carpets we have seen and the ones we bought in the end were better quality and lower price than what we have seen in Fes and Marrakech and other places. Of course, negotiation is part of the experience. We much enjoyed the meal of “Berbere Pizza”, the Madfouna, both in the meat and the vegetarian option. So, all in all, a very worthwhile excursion - and we will enjoy our carpets for a long time!! And after Maison Touareg, I suggest to go visit the Soukh in Rissoli ... very cool!

When out in the sahara this is ur one stop shop if you want carpets lanterns and furniture etc. Its a lical artisan marketplace. You have to bargain. I wouldnt buy clothing here- i personally didnt like the fabric selection.
