Has potential of a great international airport, but it's infested with people husling you from people trying to rent you a car to people trying to carry you luggage to taxi drivers jumping on you as soon as you get out. The place outside since the airport bans any non travelers from entering the airport which I'm sure is against some human right or or tax payer right since it bans citizens from entering a public space that they technically own! Is an oppen space to the elements less welcoming than some of the old bus stations scattered around the kingdom. The authorities don't do anything to find alternatives for the hustlers or organize the taxis and car rentals agencies or warn the passengers from dealing with hustlers. The place has potential to be a nice welcoming dor to the kingdom, the infrastructure is there, it could use some nice exhibits inside especialy in the secured area at arrivals to showcase the richness of the kingdom in displaying some plaleontological, good quality handy craft or modern art displays. Rabat airport is a jewel next to it.

Beautiful airport. But they don't recognise Corona Virus tests in Chinese Language although the international departure terminal sign post is having chinese language, English and Arabic languages and they have officially inaugurated flights to Beijing. The Royal Air Maroc staffs have to recognise China as the world's super power.

Airport has been upgraded and it looks much better from inside , good shops but somehow long queues for immigration and for searching passengers.

Cute cats. Airport is big and clean, and the stuff is friendly.
