Same owner as the nearby hotel "Dar Ikalimo Ourika" Rooms: Very comfortable rooms - especially the bedding with soft sheets and comfortable duvets. We had two rooms, one with double bed, and one larger with double bed on one side and two singles on the other (with doorway with curtain in the middle). The larger room came with a brand new aircon on each side so that you don't have the problem of one warm room and one cold room as I have experienced elsewhere. Food: Generous breakfast with a variety of drinks (juice, tea, coffee, milk) plus bread/pancakes/eggs with a variety of spreads. Bread is freshly baked themselves using traditional methods. Service: Top quality service - friendly staff who are very professional. When looking at other accommodations when booking I read reviews about low cost accommodations that charged more for food than accommodation - but here I was consistently undercharged. At meals we were given free extras like fruit salad, we took their horses out for a walk in the mountains for free, our overall meal bill was undercharged. Also when being given advice about local activities by the owner, he kept telling us the real price that we should pay (we didn't get this sort of good advice at our other accommodation in Morocco). Extras: My children enjoyed the play equipment such as trampoline, and enjoyed meeting the wide variety of animals they have. The animals seem well looked after. Overall: In other accommodation I found it a bit draining to be told one thing and then given less or charged more - while at this accommodation it was always the opposite case of being given more and charged less - which made for a much more enjoyable and relaxing stay. Google Maps doesn't know about the bridge across the river. You need to drive down the road on the opposite side of the river, past where the hotel is and keep eyes open for a road bridge on the left side quite a few minutes down the road past where the hotel on the opposite side is. If it is dark as you arrive you should call the hotel for them to send someone to guide you (seriously, it's an unlit narrow mountain road - easy with a hotel staff but not safe by yourself the first time).

A wonderful and colorful place, to spend the day with families or friends, not far from Marrakech with very easy access, 100% Moroccan decoration, clean and all fresh, very reasonable prices, but we just need to improve the service, so the dishes are not delicious enough, if not the animation and the atmosphere reassured!
