Dar Ikalimo Ourika

This was the worst experience I ever had in any Hotel We were 2 families with a child for each family we checked-in at 1am the welcome was bad, we had to climb so many stairs to reach the hotels with 2 babies and luggage this was not something you would expect to do. They asked for ID cards and Marriage certificates, we gave them what they asked for, some IDs were just copies, they insisted on original ones, so we went all the rough stairs down to the car to get the originals. We had our launch which was expensive compared to the quantity and what can you get with the same price in the surrounding area, and the quality wasn't as expected. We went after to their farm located nearby, and at 5pm they said that our check-in was not accepted, because Marriage Certificate is old (2016) they refused to makes stay there so we had to leave with our children and night was coming by, we had to drive to another hotel by night, which is risky and any one who went to that area in this period can confirm how the road is there by night. We knew after that they had a group of people coming so they forced us to leave in order to empty 2 extra rooms for their guests. We talked to the 'daughter' of the owner by phone only, because they had no manager and the owners didn't care meeting their guests, the 'daughter' insisted that she can't let us check-in because she fears that our marriage papers are not genuine which is funny enough seeing that we had children with us... There was one of the staff with us (he carried some luggage, he took charge of check-in and also he cooked our meals...) he was so sad and angry that he said he shouldn't have worked with these owners and that would be his last day with him... I don't think any one would sacrifice his holiday and spend even one night there, because the staff is under stress, and there is no manager in place in case of any issues and the owners are too 'busy' to talk to their guests in person. There are many other places in Atlas range, that have better location, staff, catering, rooms and prices...

The place is amazing to relax and charge your energy back. Abdurrahman is so kind and helpful, he mad us a delicious breakfast thank you so much for everything abdurrahman. 100% I'm coming back to this place

Very calm place All around mountains Beautiful 🤩

Amazing! The best service we have had in Morocco. The owner gave us her personal phone number in case we got lost on the drive. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the car by hotel staff who were incredibly attentive throughout our whole stay. The place is beautiful and very clean. There is no deception (something we have come to expect in morocco) and the staff go above and beyond in any way they can. We had an awesome Berber breakfast then played with the farm animals for hours, followed with a scenic horseback ride in the mountains. We cannot recommend this place enough!!

We did not stay here but ate at the restaurant. We walked up from the Ourika Valley. The views were spectacular. The restaurant was huge and very clean. The guy serving us was so friendly. Food was fab as was the price. We shared a tagine & fries.
