Dar Sanoah - Ourika - Marrakech

It is a true paradise on earth! a total haven of peace! Ideally located, at the foot of the Atlas, in the middle of a superb olive grove, about thirty minutes from Marrakech. The rooms are large, bright, fully equipped and overlook the magnificent swimming pool. The service is at the top, and Saïda's meals are a wonder for the taste buds! Personally, I stay there regularly on each of my trips to Morocco. I highly recommend Dar Sanoah, I have never been disappointed!

Great guest house in a beautiful setting. Lahcen welcomes you with an incredible kindness in his house among the olive trees. Quiet and relaxing 2 steps from the tumult of Marrakech. I recommend !!!

An authentic stay: we have just spent a magical week! on the one hand because at this time of year the weather is still very beautiful (31 degrees during the day, it changes from the grayness of Lyon) and especially because the guest house Dar Sanoah (located in the Ourika valley 30 min by car de Marrakech) and the people who welcome you there are magnificent. Saïda (who always has a smile) will cook for you the best Moroccan dishes (tagines, couscous, pancakes for breakfast ...), her husband Abdel Kader will tell you "I did it!" "... :-) The house is quiet with a splendid view of the Atlas and the olive trees. Far from the tumult of Marrakech, this place is very rejuvenating. The place is simple but with all the comforts Swimming pool, spacious bedroom with good bedding, air conditioning, outdoor and indoor lounge in short, everything is there for a great stay. This is the 4th time that we have come to Morocco and thanks to Lahcen (the owner of the place who served as our guide) we have rediscovered Morocco in a different way and especially with its authentic side. Lahcen transmitted to us his love for this country and the Berber culture. Lachen is an excellent driver because driving in the middle of Moroccan road traffic (mopeds, donkey with horse-drawn carriage, stray dogs, cars that do not respect the highway code) is a real feat! In terms of activities, without going far, there is a hike to waterfalls; a camel ride; a hammam in the village; visits (eco museum - saffron factory - argan oil) the traditional souk of Marrakech, etc ... program is à la carte, the team is attentive and extremely kind. They are sincere and true people. It feels good to see this authentic and non-business side. Thank you. Dar Sanoah is also a meeting place because there are 3 rental rooms in the house so the opportunity to get to know other travelers as well. The prices are very correct whether for the meal, the room or the excursions. We can't wait to go back! To explore the desert. We highly recommend you get it.
