Riad Beloiseau Marrakech

Stay away from this accommodation and the managers Patrick and his partner! I booked this riad for September 2020 and paid €3000 euros in two installments. I asked for some funds back because of the pandemic as Morocco closed its borders and the owner has NOT given me ANY of the deposits back, not even one. After emailing several times attempting to get something back, he finally responded to say I could book next year 'take care.' Since then he has ignored my messages, emails and all other forms of contact. I have asked very kindly to at least give some deposit back. He is completely out of line and has stolen my deposit and also asked me to pay more cash on arrival probably for him to avoid paying his taxes. We are in a pandemic and there is no way to travel to Marrakech. I'm shocked at the way he thinks he does business. Do not book this accommodation. I have tried countless times to reach Patrick but he continues to ignore me and refuses to come to an agreement. I held a yoga gathering at Riad Beloiseau in 2019. It was nice scenery in the beginning but Patrick tried to charge us insane amounts at the end of our stay €200 euros for water which we purchased before for our guests. The rooms also smelled like a drain odour. Patrick and Joel have no idea how to run business, and ripping people off is not the way to do it. Read the other reviews on Riad Beloiseau and you will find similar experiences with overcharging guests not to mention their very rude attitude and aggressive nature. Very disappointed Em

Having stayed at the Riad for 7 nights, I would not return. The problem lies with the owner, who fundamentally is a con. He has conducted himself appallingly throughout the pandemic, refusing to return a hefty deposit to the wonderful organiser of what should have been our 2nd our yoga retreat at the property. Despite many failed attempts to resolve this, no contact or progress has been made. He still has money in his pockets that should have been returned in line with his own refund policy. Do not book to stay here, especially with the current situation as your holiday will be cancelled and you will also be out of pocket.

DO NOT BOOK! Visited here in 2019 as part of a big group. Room smelled of drains and I was over charged 200USD on our room for additional drinks other members of the group had ordered. Owners Patrick and his partner did not give you the warm and friendly welcome like I had experienced from other Riads we had stayed in. Despite this, and the discussion to address the problems, we decided to rebook the venue again for Sept 2020 as we were a large group and they could accommodate us all together. After paying the deposit and then a further instalment, the country closed its borders due to COVID. Patrick refused to give any refund of the 3000 Euros we had put down, not even a partial refund and has disappeared off the planet with our money, with no way of contacting him after many many emails, messages and attempts to call him. ONLY BOOK IF YOU WANT TO SAY BYE TO YOUR MONEY!

I visited as part of a retreat and found the owner rude and unhelpful. He has also ignored and refused to refund money to the retreat organiser after she rebooked and it had to be cancelled due to COVID. Do not book this place! The owner is untrustworthy, unresponsive and will take your cash!

Nice place for a good price. You can check-in at late night. Amazing night shift staf with good stories to tell. Clean pool with tawels, so you dont need to worry about yours.
