The location and concept are great. Central yet quiet, great architecture, unfortunately poor service, and installations relative to the price tag... The furniture is broken and rundowned, not to mention kitchen accessories and the bathrooms. In terms of value for money definitely not a good deal...

My Family and I (2 adults and 4 children) have just come back from a weeks holiday in Marrakesh, this is not the first time visiting this AMAZING city. We decided to take this trip via a third party company who were looking after the food and beverage for the duration of the stay, so this review is purely on the hotel, service and staff. The Villa itself is very spacious and to the eye very luxurious, until you start to look at things close up. Tiles cracked all over the place, no grouting on any tiles leaving very sharp edges especially around the bath area, showers would not drain away, toilets were constantly filling up, windows wouldn't shut properly, doors wouldn't lock. the villa had 3 TV's dotted around rooms, all different brands but with only one TV remote in the villa. All Villa's are sold having a lockable safe, well ours didn't, we had to ask 2/3 times a day for one to be put in, guess what, we never got one, leaving us to carry our valuables whenever we went out. The villa overall is not safe for families with young children (as we do) the doors would not lock leaving the swimming pool exposed. The tiles surrounding the pool were extremely slippery, and there was no water drainage at all, so the water just sat there all day building up. As you can see above we are a family of 6, every day house keeping would only leave 4 towels, every day it was a battle to get more towels, you would think that having a pool in your villa you would leave additional towels. To top everything off, on the day we checked out, the manager at the front desk accused me and my family of stealing 2 towels. He was so adamant that we had stolen them that he locked down the front gate and wouldn't let our airport transfer leave the grounds, he demanded that he searched our luggage and that we pay 300 MAD ( approx £25) for the towels. the police were called, who thought he was crazy, our kids were screaming and crying at this point, we were soooo late for our flight at this point that I just gave him 200MAD at which point he gave in. I am still in shock with what happened, and for the record we didn't take the towels. For a so called 5 star hotel the way they treat their guests is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this place doesn't come close to a 3 star hotel Spend your money elsewhere
