Before I even begin to write this long overdue review, I want to thank the owner for being such a great host. When we arrived In Morocco we were a bit disappointed due to a long delay which made us miss our rental car. We had to take a taxi to the hotel and return the next day to pick up our car. The owner offered to drop us to the airport without asking anything in return. This highlighted the beginning of our trip. Not only was the owner pleasant but his staff at the restaurant gave us great service. I will never forget this experience. The hotel was a bit secluded but once you have transportation it’s a steal of a deal. Thank you to everyone who contributed to a great stay at Le Chant Des Oliviers.

Lovely place to relax and enjoy a sunny day by the poolside. Away from all the buzz in Marrakech. Better to have your own transportation since the place is a bit isolated.

Beautifull place and garden. It is a bit secluded and it is best to follow the directions of the owner to find it. The breakfast was tastefull.

I'd give it 3 stars but the service killed it. To start, it's nice looking, comfortable, and the staff are friendly. However, it's in the middle of nowhere, like staying by the airport except the airport is far away too. Getting into Marrakesh is about 40 minutes, and you have to drive, there's not even a bus it's so far out. A taxi will cost you about $25-30, and will take a while to arrive. The pool is nice, the food at the restaurant is serviceable, and the peacocks make entertaining noises. But, my toilet was broken overnight and would not flush, and the shower overflowed and flooded the bathroom and closet because the drain wasn't working, so I couldn't really finish showering either. Despite this, I was offered no discount other than a comped breakfast, not even a free ride into town. This was after a call to the manager, so the decision was official, not front level staff. So, the place is pretty and feels nice. But be prepared for the distance. If you want quiet, don't mind being on dirt roads far from town, and have low expectations, you'll have a nice couple days by the pool.

Idyllic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of marrakesh. It was a perfect stop for us on our way to ouarzazet. We arrived at night.so quickly after a nice Moroccan tajine and grilled meat, we went to sleep (the most comfortable bed i have ever slept on).woke up in the morning to be amazed by the view through our window. As if the snowy Atlas mountains were there to greet us.and a view of the beautiful garden an huge swimming pool.breakfast was delicious. We just changed our plans to come and stay here again instead of the medina on the second leg of our trip back from ouarzazet.
