I stayed at this Villa in October of last year, having been to Morroco twice before and stayed in very similar villas in the Palmerie area. We were a group of 18, and were advised by the owner that she would need to take on extra staff for the cleaning which we were charged for. We found the owner was heavily involved in the meal times and this is part of the service where money was saved.The meals were basic with little side offerings if any, the starters on 4 of the days that we were there consisted of a tomato/cucumber based salad with bread. On some days we were offered tea/snacks at 5pm other days we were not, the cook generally appeared very miserable. The service and food offered did not match the price at all. I paid less to stay at other villas where the service and food was alot better. The villa is remote so its not an option to nip to a restaurant. On our last day we were not given dinner till gone 9.30pm (most days its was 8.30-9) ans the staff and owner were busy preparing for the new guests that were arriving. The premises are clean. EDIT: I am not unidenfiable at all i use my initials for reviews. I have the same contact details as from when i booked the owner is more the an welcome to contact me we arrived on the 24th nad left a week later.I have plenty of pictures from our stay and have attached 5 below. The reason for the late review is i saw the villa advertised on villanovo website which we have used lots of times before, and i didnt want other people to pay what we did for the below par service as we have had great success before with properties on villa novo. During my stay I spoke to the owner a french lady multiple times. I said in my review the premises are clean the house is beautiful but the food and service however was not.

It was wonderful to spend some quality time with extended family and friends in this peaceful location. Located between Marrakesh and the atlas mountains. Getting here was a bit difficult at first so having our own driver was very useful.With many children and adults of different ages all wanting to do different things he was kept very busy so we occasionally had to make our own way back directing the taxi drivers with Google maps otherwise they would not have found it. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. We really tested thier patience with staggering into breakfast over several hours. The food was amazing and service exceptional. They happily accommodated our dinner guests with amazing hospitality making them feel 'like royalty'. Staff are very meticulous so if you leave something lying around it is quickly tidied away. So if things seem to disappear don't worry just ask and they will be brought out for you from a safe storage. Loved the lounges so cosy and clean. Pool was not heated while we were there but not needed as it was so hot. Some of the children complained of sore feet from sharp tiles or maybe rubble in the pool. Jacuzzi was not working which was disappointing. Lots to keep everyone happy. Pool, small gym, mini golf, pool table, cinema room or just relax and enjoy the views. Easy reach of Marrakesh and Atlas mountains. Plenty of communal places to relax in large groups as well as small private places. Would have been nice to have some seating on the upstairs balcony near the pool table. There was an issue with the drains in the new block getting flooded when showers were used. Hopefully that had been fixed. There are two dogs but they are generally very friendly and stay out of your way. One is a guard dog the other is only seen wandering around at meal times. Only issue we had was one night when two of the girls decided to go for a stroll in the gardens at '2am' they were promptly chased away by the guard dog so could not get back to their room. The next day at breakfast he was barking at them again so they were very shaken. The next morning however he seemed to go out of his way to make friends with them.

How to qualify the owners of this place who refuse to reimburse a stay on the weekend of May 1, 2020, while Morocco is in confinement, that they can not accommodate us and that all the flights to return us in Marrakech are canceled ??? Shame on you!!! You are little people and you seem to forget that there will be life after this painful episode for all of us, which you seem to want to enjoy.
