The place has seen better days, probably in the early eighties. Comparable places cost around 150 MAD in the region. I was asked 290 MAD for one person and for many reasons (mostly, I was tired) I accepted. 12Km away there is Camp Serdrar and I wish I had returned there (great hospitality). Long story short, I was kept awake by loud, distorted live music coming from the bar from 8 pm to almost 1am, when I confronted the "manager" for the third (third) time. He agreed to make the music stop immediately when I offered that I would leave immediately and drive into the night. Before this guy lied by saying that he would make the music stop at midnight. Then, aggressively, he offered to solve the problem by making me change room, to another one 20 yards away. I couldn't really rest well because of the confrontation, even after the music finally stopped. On the positive side of things, internet connection was great (I was the only guest).

This place was the rescue during our night drive towards Marrakech. They have a night guard which organized a room for us at around 11.30 pm which we were really happy about! The staff was also very nice (even though they offensively asked for a tip) and the breakfast was definitely the best that we had during our trip. The con is definitely the rooms. They are old, they were not clean, the shower super-cold, there was no WiFi inside the rooms... and for this comfort the hotel is quite pricey. This causes the 3-star rating. This hotel definitely needs some proper clean-up and update to be profitable in the modern tourist world in Morocco.
