Tigmi bulbul

Tigmi bulbul is definitely not a mainstream place. It has it's very special own magic, not only thanks to Georges and Rachid, who care for you in a family atmosphere and who also cook fantastic dishes for you. It's very well maintained and wherever you look, you see the results of the love and care from Georges and Rachid. But if a traveller is looking for for a standard luxury hotel, he better stays away (because this place does not deserve those people). Imagine, the rooms are very special and are built into the rocks of the mountain wall, so behind you in the room you can see parts of the pure rock wall. You are located a little bit above the valley and you have to walk a few meters from the main street to reach the hotel (but if needed, they will even help you with your luggage). Next to the hotel the fantastic agadir "Agadir Id Aissa" is located, you can reach the top in a nice 30 minutes walk (it's not too steep). In the other direction, very near too, there is a second agarid (Agadir Aguellouy). We will come back when we have the chance again to come to Morocco, thanks for all!

Worst experience ever !!!! I came to bulbul in search of a hostel. The greeting was short and cold. The room shown but nice. I picked up my husband to check in about 30 minutes later and choose half board (350 Dh per person). When I asked the cook nicely for dinner, he freaked out and shouted at me for no reason. It was just 5pm, but for him our normal wish was an imposition. I tried to calm him down, suggested different times, apologized ... nothing helped. Totally frustrated, I told my husband about the encounter, whereupon he also tried to convey. But he also received only wild & aggressive abuse from the cook. The owner was in the room all the time and didn't try to calm the cook down with one syllable. Finally we grabbed our passports and left the hotel. We have never experienced such aggressive and disrespectful behavior towards customers - nowhere in Morocco or anywhere else in the world. We are still shocked and recommend a hotel where guests are treated like guests.

George is a witty and frank Pyrénéen, with an imposing presence and a curiosity that does not pay at the expense of the ailments of time; conversing with him about places at the end of the day will become as necessary as the various delicacies prepared by Rachid (a true magician with oranges). The rooms are large and of practical and consistent beauty, the terrace is worth a ritual stop at dawn and one at sunset and there is also a small hortus conclusus. To animate the outline the challenge between the muezzin of the two districts of the village (ours in the old part had a cough but he asserted himself) and a young, healthy and very agile kitten ("une catastrophe" cit. George) who will come to pass from the air ducts to reach the dining room and purr your table. George is a pyrénéen plein d'esprit et franc, with an imposing presence and a curiosity jamais assouvi, malgré les marques du temps qui passe; converser avec lui sur les lieux en fin de journée you also need to be obliged to say les différentes gourmandises préparées par Rachid (véritable prestidigitateur des oranges). Les chambres sont grandes et d'une beauté pratique et cohérente, the terrasse vaut un arrêt rituel au lever et un au coucher du soleil et il y aussi un petit hortus conclusus. Pour animer l'ambiance, le défi entre les muezzins des deux quartiers du village (le nôtre dans la partie ancienne a toussé mais il s'est bien battu) et un chaton, sain et très agile ("une catastrophe" cit. George) here it goes glisser dans le conduit de l'air pour attindre la salle à manger et ronronner à votre table.

Picturesque place and original rooms. Well located in front of the mountain. But high prices for average services (no hot water at night, water and tea after meal, minimum welcome).

nice place, good food. nice people at the hotel who know a lot about the place.
