The Tankart School is considered one of the most important antique schools in Souss in general and "Ifrane" is the small atlas in particular, where senior scholars and jurists graduated from it, and one of those interested in the literary field says "Ifrane". However, even if the schools of "Ifrane" are numerous, then the prized one may not fail, except for two, namely, the school “Al-Tinkeriya” (relative to Tinkeret) and the “Al-Amsrawiyya” school (relative to yesterday), and the first is the greatest affair, giving and glory.
The “Tankert” antique school is located on a rocky plateau overlooking the “Ifrane” valley in the west, and the “Sidi Mohamed Abrag” cemetery of the “Al Hendak” roundabout in the south. A number of features have been taken into consideration in choosing the location of the construction of the ancient “Tankert” school, as it was built on a plateau Rocky overlooking the valley of "Ifrane" and known as the Valley of Writers. Where the proximity to water and distance from the center of the population as it is in a monitored location to the flanks of the "Ifrane" valley and the oases adjacent to it.
