It is so traditional
One of the oldest mosques in the city of Abu Jaad, was built during the reign of Mr. Arab (from the grandson of Mohammed Al Sharqi). This is by order of Sultan Moulay Suleiman, who named this mosque in his name.
To preserve this ancient landmark, it has recently been restored. and thank God
One of the oldest mosques in the city of Abu Jaad
A very old mosque with a pleasant interior architecture
Sultan Moulay Suleiman Mosque .... This mosque was built by order of the Alawite Sultan Moulay Suleiman during the reign of Sidi Al-Arabi bin Al-Moati bin Saleh, the grandson of the good ruler Bouabid Al-Sharqi, who buried the city of Abi Al-Jaad, and Sultan Moulay Hassan I visited this corner and stayed there for some days during his conquests on Amazigh regions.
This mosque was the beginning of a collector for the teaching of the Qur’an and various sciences, as the eastern corner was famous at that time for the Arabic language and various sciences such as medicine, nutrition, anatomy, and foundations, in addition to the Holy Qur’an and hadith.
Currently, prayers and Friday prayers are held in this magnificent mosque with high-end engineering, which is visited by worshipers from various neighborhoods of the city
A great place for contemplation and reverence
