To be honest, the place could be much more better. It could be taken to the next level by just adding a little bit of care. It took forever to find it. Fez Medina is a place you can get lost quite easily, and if there are no sings nor indicators or tips to get to the actual street where this place is located, you can be wondering around forever. Google maps doesn't show you how to correctly get there because it's not showing all the tiny streets of this place, so the "welcoming experience" was a bit of a turn off. Adding to that, the area of the Medina where this is placed is not that touristic, so it was tricky to come back at night, all by yourself and with no lights at all. Once there, it felt quite claustrophobic, almost no natural light (nor artificial one), poorly decorated and cold, very cold to be in around winter time. I was impressed by the beauty the place has itself, but seems like nobody takes care of it and wasn't cozy at all. The only good part were the breakfast, they made it different everyday and they were quite nice.

One of the Best Riad in Fez, Family BOUDEN is very gentle and you can help you in visit all the old Medina and give à delicius moroccan food

The apartment they gave us was large and comfortable. Overlooking the inner courtyard of the Riad, on the whole well-kept. The owners were very helpful and personable. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
