This place was the worst. You would be better off staying in an abandoned building. One entire wall in the bedroom was covered in mold. The whole wall...top to bottom. There was also a ton of mold in the bathroom. The place smelled awful and after a few hours, I was coughing and sneezing. The floor was just broken tiles and when we asked about AC, we were told it wasn't possible and that we could use a fan for an extra 6 Euros. We were told when we booked that a free breakfast was included, but we couldn't find anyone the next day and at 11am we just left. We had another night booked but it wasn't worth it to stay and just booked another place. Happily, the booking agency refunded us and hopefully they will remove this place from their listing. I'm not a picky traveler at all. I've traveled to half the countries in Africa, often hitchhiking and staying in some pretty basic places but this place was a health hazard! I've honestly stayed in hotels with dirt floors that have been cleaner than this one. Avoid at all costs.

Dar el Mask is situated in the middle of the medina maze, really good location bud really hard to find. Abderahim is really nice and helpful but sadly him and the location are the only 2 positive things.when we arrived at dar el Mask we got the double room at ground floor without windows, the room was really humid and we didn't sleep well, even with the AC (extra as per reservation) humidity was high and the room was stinky. The secon day Abderahim gave us the possibility to change room with one at the third floor with window and less humidity so we decided to stay one more night. Second night even worst! we were literally eaten by bedbugs and we had to wash all our stuff trying not to carry with us those insects . Be aware is a cheap place but for us it has been a nightmare. I have to say another time that Abderahim is nice and helpful but the room and services need to improve a lot.

The room smelled of cat urine. Large burn hole in the blanket. The place was hard to find. To top it off the manager demanded a higher price than our agreed amount upon departure.

I had booked Palais walid and had to move to another place with a different name and location. It is absurd to stay in a place that I did not even know in English, but there was no bathtub stop in this place and the bathroom shower did not come out hot water. The place where the mind becomes colder than the cold January weather in the attitude of the president who does not consider guest at all. However, I am grateful to the kindness of the staff who are trying to do their best.
