Typical of an old and traditional Moroccan house, Riad Baba does not look like much from outside, but through the heavy wooden doors lies a beautifully presented property,beautifully furnished bedrooms. besides the staff are very friendly and happy to discuss Moroccan life and culture.

The thousand and one nights in Fez! Without a doubt the most lovely place I have ever stayed! It is a true 19th century riad decorated completely with mosaic and stucco, in which each room is more beautiful than the other! It seems to be inside "The Thousand and One Nights". Ask the owners to show you the other free rooms! With even less doubts, I can say that it was the place where I had the best experience in all my travels abroad and also competes with the highest levels of Italian cuisine: dinner (on request) is prepared by the owner. He will offer you the most typical Moroccan dishes that you will not be able to find in any restaurant. For us it was like going to eat at Grandma's: all the secrets of Arab cuisine in every dish! Not to mention the quantity! We had to insist on refusing yet another scope that they wanted to offer and all for a pizzeria price! We felt treated as if we were her children and together with her husband (both university professors of English literature) they cheered our evenings with interesting conversations. Ideal for the summer for the coolness it manages to keep, during the winter you will be buried by a blanket of blankets that will keep you warm. Only warning: if you can avoid the ground floor room. The room is really lovely but the bathroom is uncomfortable.
