I visited le souk artisanal yesterday, and I must say their collection and quality of product is really good, and they have such varieties. I bought so many hand made shawls and pure leather belts. The owner was really helpful and so nice and polite, and not to mention VERY welcoming. Really good spot to buy shawls, carpet, shoe, other accessories etc.

Another person to luckily stumble upon an amazing find. Prices were great, Amil was such a great person to deal with. We are so excited about showing off our new carpets and pouf. Highly recommended place, a little off the beaten path but well worth looking for. Thank you Amil and family, we hope to be back!

Great shop off the tourist track which means the service you get there is very personalised and attentive. Despite knowing I wasn't interested in buying a carpet, the owner lay a few artisan ones created by various Moroccan tribes, and shared a beautiful and interesting history of each one of them whilst I was sipping a mint tea. This wasn't intended to get me to buy the carpet, but to learn a bit of a history and culture of his country as the shop prides itself on promoting artisan produce from many parts of Morocco. For anyone interested in jewellery this is the place to go to - they have a beautiful selection of silver created by different Berber tribes, and can tell you really interesting stories about them. Skip jewellery stalls in Medina and visit this shop if silver or gold is what you're after. All in all, the place is definitely worth a visit., even if you're not intending to shop heavy. The only small issue I need to mention is I thought I bought an orange blossom oil/ perfume base, but found out after opening bottles that this was orange blossom water, not oil. The 4 bottles I bought were wrapped in sellotape to prevent spillage, and I only found this out when I returned home.

I don't understand why people positively review this shop. We were brought here by a man called Hamid during his break from his work at the Jnan Sbil garden nearby. We appreciated how Adil explained the different types of rugs to us; less when he tried to sell two carpets at 1350€ and 1750€ (or close to the same price we'd pay in France for this...). In other places in Morocco, we saw prices three to four times lower than what Adil offered, for the exact same types and quality of carpets. After we declined buying the carpets, my mom decided to buy two small items (a small candle holder and a piece of amber musk). Adil charged her 20€ for this, or much more than the real price for these items, maybe knowing that my mom was likely to find 20€ an acceptable price compared to 1350/1750€ and wouldn't dare to ask for a lower price. Note that he knew it was our first day and first time in Morocco and therefore we didn't have a good idea of the prices, and we feel he took advantage of it.

Excellent souk off the beaten path. We feel lucky to have stumbled across this place by pure chance. Really nice experience, good prices, good quality, no need to haggle. Amil was extreme helpful and informative. He explained and showed us the different type of carpets, qualities and prices. Never felt any pressure to buy anything. We had a really good time, learned a lot and took home memories and some goodies to remember Morocco. Highly recommend the place.
