No one was at the counter, 1 hour of phone calls and eventually someone came, worst experience ever
Once again hired a car from Avis, as I had used them in the UK and Dubai on many occasions.
We were met by Sami who was very helpful and courteous. We were allocated a vehicle above the one I had booked, it was clean and had a full tank of fuel as expected. The minor marks and blemishes were concurred upon collection (which was late evening). Beware of the substantial block which is a requirement by the company and which you are made aware of upon initial booking and upon collection. This is the money that will be blocked off on your credit card in case of any accidents or issues. The company are within their rights to do this as per any other hire company who do the same.
We had no problems with the vehicle upon return and the keys were handed over to the next person in the reception area as Anees was not available. Made sure to take photographs of the returned vehicle inside and outside in case of any disputes.
Nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience using Avis again and best regards to Sami who handled everything professionally.
I would definitely use them again if hiring a vehicle in the Rabat area.
Sami helped us out when another company (Addcar) didn't provide the car we had booked online. We had no issues picking up or dropping off. The car worked well driving over 1500km around Morocco. Would be the only company I would recommend using at Rabat Airport.
We are so happy for rent with Avis. They have amazing profesionals at Rabat airport. The customer service We received from Mr Oussama and Mr Ayoub were exceptional and very professional. We are grateful for their wonderful attention.
Sami went out of his way to help us when our original car broke down. He personally came out to our house and replaced it with a better car. Great service!
