Met Saiid the mecanic through his friend Hicham at Garage Lhcen. Saiid saw the car and determined that the oil was leaking due to an easy part to fix. Took the car Monday night, he was not very communicative and kept promising the car will be fixed soon. Thursday morning, we decide to go to the garage to pick up the car. The accountant brought the car and asked for 2500 dhs which we paid and took the car. Saiid confirmed that it is all fixed, the oil leaking and the loud noise the car was making. Thursday afternoon as we were at the mall with our toddler. then noticed that the parling spot was full of oil leaking from our car. We called Saiid who gave us a number of a different garage who apparently fixed the car(not him who we paid in full). I call the number and the guy didn’t seem to know what I am talking about. We take the car to this guy(very nice guy), he says that Saiid gave him specific instructions on what to fix but looking at the car now it will need another part fixed and 850 dhs and another day without a car. Now we spent 3350 dhs, 4 days without a car; had to rent a car for 350 dhs a day; all because Saiid is a dishonest mechanic working for a garage that steals people’s money. We go back Friday night, the car was fixed and the new mechanic said that we spent too much money on something that would of cost 1000 dhs and a day to repair. I DO NOT Recommend this garage nor the mechanic Saiid . By the way Saiid stopped answering my calls after he promised to pay the 850 dhs to the new mechanic which he didn’t. It was a nightmare for our family!
