Enjoyable cycle tour around the Medina and new city. I'm not a confident cyclist back in the UK, but our guide was very calm and went at a comfortable pace so i felt safe even on the busy roads! We stopped at a place for breakfast and for lunch, and a juice and tasting tea in between. The only thing I would say is that I thought we would be stopping a bit more to sample more Moroccan dishes.

I rented a bike and hired a guide (Asmil) for most of the day to ride up part of the Atlas Mountains. Amazing experience. Asmil was so charming, multilingual, humorous and knowledgeable. Truly a perfect day and a completely different experience from my many other places that I have ridden in the world. Highly recommend AXS and Asmil! I have posted more photos in my Strava and Komoot posts.

I had a Brief 3day visit to Marrakesh this November, threw in my cycling shoes hoping to see some countryside while my wife was at the spa. Contacted Argan Sports when I arrived after finding their website on Google. Seemed to offer bespoke cycling suited to my ability and requirements. (social rider/sportive/touring etc). Booked and confirmed less than 24 h before, no issues. Arrived (late due to taxi mishap) full carbon Giant Defy 11speed Ultegra waiting with Ismail, my guide for the day. Pedals fitted, good helmet, rolled out and with minor adjustments made a promising exit out of the city. Ismail negotiated junctions deftly as we weaved through the morning traffic (Marrakesh driving...!). Traffic thinned, settled into a steady pace and chatted about the city, surrounding countryside, Moroccan and Berber people, and enjoyed the friendly company and fascinating landscape. Giant was tight and smooth, well maintained and comfortable ride. Landscape began to rise, dusty fields became olive groves and palms. Small villages, and local traders, with fresh produce provided a brief respite before venturing upwards toward the mountains. Ismail rode at ease taking all manner of photos and video to help me remember our ride. Passed through historical Berber towns before approaching Scorpion city. Lunch was had at a local restaurant with traditional tagine making it a hearty pit stop. Panoramic photostop and commenced the Return loop. Laws of physics allowed a brisk pace but a pesky headwind meant the HR stayed up. Followed the Marrakesh Ironman cycle route back into the outskirts of the city, completing the 90k loop in 4h approx. I loved every minute of this ride, it was a highlight of my trip, made all the more enjoyable by Ismail, friendly and approachable, good nature, communicating easily and knowledgeably. I will return to Marrakesh, I will bring my friends and we will look forward to further ventures into the Atlas Mountains with Argan Sports

To avoid if you are renting a bike for your next race or for a tour outside Marrakech... I rented one for a triathlon race and the crank arm fell off the bike 2h before the race, even if the owner confirmed that the bike will be checked by their team and will be ready for race... After this issue she just disappeared and refused to respond to my cals and messages which is completely unprofessional... In response to M. Timothy answer below, please note that I have rented the bike for a race that you were not supporting between 14th and 15th Sept because you didn't had enough bike rents as it was explained to my by the owner, please ask Mme S. K. and ask you seller they will confirm, I will send you the photos of the bike and my whatsapp exchanges with the owner by email, check also my comment on TripAdvisor for more details. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
