Renala Au Sable D'Or

The place if nicely located near the beach and the maintenance of the facility is great. The tv and AC were not working but we're not in Morondava to stay inside. I only give 2 stars for the service for my two days stay. People are usually sitting around chatting, i had to go to the backoffice of the kitchen to ask for my invoices, the guy at the reception was a bit pushy about organizing a tour for me, etc. It didn't really make me feel welcome. Maybe I was hoping too much as I used to go here back in the days...

A pleasant setting, top staff and clean, spacious bungalows make this hotel an ideal place to stay and explore the area. Without forgetting a traditional quality cuisine.

The property is well preserved and well-tended gardens, only the beach is not particularly good in the rainy season.

Bungalows and food are ok. Not suitable for a beach holiday. No beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach and as near a river flows into the sea, the water is heavily contaminated. Service and staff very attentive.

Not worth the money spent. The bungalows are already tired. Two hundred meters to the beach. No sunbeds.
