Chez Anita

A very basic hotel in a small town of Fort Dauphin. Airport is about 10-15 minutes taxi ride. Units are behind the front restaurant that offers simple meals made to order. The space in my unit is sufficient for a short stay. There is also hot water for shower which is great. Wifi is also available. Ones must remember this is Africa. Enjoy the journey. The most disappointing hotel and restaurant I have ever seen. Warm water and Internet are just for publicity, they are not really working and sometimes there is no water at all. The food is also awful and very oily. My friend had a diarrhoea soon after eating their seafood.

Chez Anita is a delightful solace in the bustling tropical city of Tôliagnaro, predominantly ran and owned by some kindly older women who delight in providing hospitality that feels like home in their clean, vivaciously-colored bungalows and their delicious restaurant. I recommend it highly, and find it hard to leave this place of peace on the road. Hot water for the tropical style baths is good too. :)
