Place could become a paradise however there is something called karma which is missing here. Beautiful location clear lake waters, ovepriced food. Excellent manager Silvan. Very negative and arrogant staff manager Pascal. Result is that noone smiles in this place...why?

Staff (most likely) stole our money while we were on an aye-aye night tour. Management pretended that this never happened before (though locals admited it did) and told us in our face that we were lying about our money being stolen. Not even an apology nor promise to look into it! There is no safe and hotel only accepts cash so perfect set up for stealing. Additionally their source for lemurs is a suspect, there is a good chance they are stealing then from the wild :(. The guide who knew a lot about them all of a sudden got very dodgy when we asked about Lemurs we saw in a cage and probed into their origin... Other than that ;) the place is nice, but slightly overpriced, concidered bringing your own snacks.

An interesting place to stay, but don't leave bananas in your room or lemurs will break in, eat them and take a dump on your bed. I should know. It happened to me. 🤣

Good effort and food. Beware of the limited electricity and warm water. Water of the lake is crystal clear, but too shallow to swim
