A big thank you to Angelique (Stephan and Angelique are the owners) that arranged our transport to and from this incredible place. We had not arranged our tour through any agency. But Angelique arranged the transport from Andasibe and the transport to Tamatave and Mahambo when we left. It was an almost unreal experience to be picked up by a speedboat and arrive to this amazing place. Angelique met us on the beach with drinks and arranged all our excursions in the forest, village and aye-aye island. The bungalows are very nicely located on a right on a sandy beach. The lake was nice for swimming also in July. It is a perfect place to relax far away from any traffic. The food was excellent and the stay is very good value for money. Angelique and Stephan also do a very good job for protecting the forest and work for the village people

Great place to do nothing, cosy bungalow (no.1) and hungry lemur. The staff are helpful but bnbesides the pancakes the food is not that great.

If you love nature, go to this place - it's probably as close to paradise as you can get! It starts with the boat trip on the amazing Pangalanes channel and lakes, continues with a warm reception in a well kept, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean bungalow hotel and does not end with helpful and friendly owners and staff. Food was great (including vegetarian options), we had fun with the lemurs playing around the place and there was a lot to do and discover in the surrounding nature. Best of all, they fight for the protection of the nearby primary forest and have close relationships with the villages around and make sure these people also get their share from the visiting tourists. Merci beaucoup Angélique & Stéphane, c'etait merveilleux !
