, I would like to share my recent experience with Silver Wings Travel and Tax Adventure located in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The tour was very badly organized, and they were unprepared. The vehicle was in horrible condition, so it frequently broke down and required repairs to its generator, battery, electric system, damper, etc. This would delay and cause myself/visitors to waste our prepaid $220 daily charges doing nothing besides waiting for driver/tour guide to fix the vehicle. For instance, during the first week, our vehicle got stuck in the mud, we were forced to use our own hands and axe to dig the vehicle out of the mud. Sadly, there were no shovels and pickaxes available/packed along for driver/tour guide to use. To make up for lost time, they would drive late at night. This was very dangerous and could easily put tourists in serious danger, such as becoming a target for robbery. As a tourist, I did not enjoy my time in Madagascar with Silver Wings Travel and Tax Adventure. The driver/guide would run out of money, so I would need to wait more than a half day to be able to continue. What was worst was my driver/guide tried to squeeze me for all my money and equipment that I brought along with me on the trip. I paid more than $4,000 USD for a 18 day trip without international flights for a very unpleasant experience. Therefore, I am very angry and unhappy with Silver Wings Travel and Tax Adventure and how they treat tourists in Madagascar. After the tour, I met other trusted tour operators and travel agencies , which I believe can provide tourists a better and more satisfactory experience. I had given Silver Wings Travel and Tax Adventure an opportunity to redeem themselves. However, after several discussions with them, my words fell on deaf ears, which proved to me that there is no hope for them. I believe their goal is to scam tourists and fill their pockets instead of showing us the beauty of their country and sharing cultural experiences with us. With that said, I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking of visiting Madagascar to stay away far away from Tax Adventure Madagascar Tour and Silver Wings Travel & Tours at all cost!!!!
